What begins as a wish often turns into a want. Perhaps you’ve heard the saying, “Don’t wish for a good body. Work for it!” Deciding upon something that we want is the exciting first step but first steps don’t get us where we want to be. Creating an action plan that is immediately and consistently followed by action is paramount. This means that you’ve gotta keep wanting it daily and continue to make the appropriate efforts. I can’t want something into fruition for you. Nobody else can either! I can guide and inspire you but the effort comes from you! You must want it strongly enough to maintain your progression. Focus on the positive feelings associated with your want to keep that fire burning. Excitement, gratitude, energy, relief, invigoration, pride, elation…..so many feelings will be with you along your journey and they will drive you so long as you allow them to. You’ve gotta work for your wants!
