Make Time for Yourself

It sounds so simple doesn’t it? Of course I make time for myself you think? If you’re having feelings of frustration or sadness then perhaps you’re not making enough time for yourself. I’ll always remember my Dad speaking about the importance of self-preservation (Dadio is a wise man). I recognized that he meant it because he was speaking in defense of my Mom after she moved out. Please don’t hear this as an invitation to move out but recognize that quality self time can alleviate stress you’re likely feeling. This year has been one for the record books right?? Fill your cup however you want and ensure that it’s part of your schedule until it becomes your habit. I promise you’ll feel all the better doing so!
