Fitness That Fits You

I guess when I think back to my younger years I, like many others, was guilty of the notion that you had to bust your butt while exercising. I’ve learned a lot since then, whew! Here’s some reasons why that isn’t true; gentle movement like bodyweight exercises, walking and stretching still mobilize muscles and increase circulation, this releases endorphins making you wanna repeat the actions, repetitive action creates a habit, habitual exercise delivers results. If you enjoy more intense exercise like weight lifting, HIIT, or adventure activities like climbing then by all means, do them! If not and you’re waiting for intensity to sound good to you then you’re doing yourself a disservice. Do what you like now and enjoy those great feelings as well as results!
