When you’re following a plan and moving towards a goal there are bound to setbacks. First things first – assess the situation and evaluate how much recovery is needed. Once the initial blow has passed then get your wits about you and carry-on. Let’s face it, some setbacks are bigger than others so the recovery and move forward plan will change accordingly. The first stop on your recovery plan is HOPE. As the first of the positive emotions, you’ve just gotta get there. Beyond that comes belief followed by determination and knowledge. Continuing assessment and editing of plans are quite simply a part of life and, in the long run, that really keeps it interesting!
