123 Go….where?

To discuss necessary actions for a goal I’m gonna choose the common one of loosing bodyfat, or more specifically shrinking your waistline because it’s easily measurable. Perhaps you’re ready to use the 123 go mantra but you’re unsure what type of action steps are necessary to add to your daily routine. Simple and easily repeatable steps are best – because they’re simple and repeatable which leads to consistency and results. Drink more water because it helps flush your body of toxins and many other benefits. One half to one ounce of water per pound of bodyweight is a good goal and you can watch for signs of dehydration like; fatigue, constipation, or dark yellow pee then adjust your intake. Be active everyday and that can mean walking, jogging, stretching, yoga, weight training, or HIIT to name a few. There are countless ways to exercise so stop imagining that you’ve gotta bust your ass for hours on end and aim for 30min 5 times per week. You’re built to move so do it! Adding more colourful veggies to your plate is also beneficial to boost your dietary fiber, vitamin and mineral content – all of which support fat loss. Aim for one half of your plate or 1 to 2 handfuls per meal to get that classic recommendation by Canada’s Food Guide of 5 to 10 servings per day. So there you have it – 3 simple steps to add to your day. Now 123 go!
