What is I.F?

There’s been much talk about Intermittent Fasting and it’s no secret that I practice and promote it. I enjoy the numerous benefits that it offers me and clients but that’s a whole other topic or blog. First let’s define it; intermittent means occurring at irregular intervals and fasting means the absence of eating or drinking. So there it is in a nutshell. Changing up your fasting and eating windows is intermittent. There are pros and cons to just about every plan you could follow so why not do it your way? Consider this; Interpretive Feeding – before eating (or drinking a beverage with calories) do a little self-assessment. Are you hungry? Are you wanting food because the clock says it’s time to eat? Are you feeling lightheaded or dizzy? How you interpret your feelings and answer these and other questions is valuable information. When considering Intermittent Fasting also consider Interpretive Feeding. How’s that food for thought???
