Consistency is key and you simply cannot reach a goal without it. You didn’t learn to walk or talk on your first attempt (some of us continue to develop the skill of talking or effective communication). Think about all that you have learned to do and what you’ve accomplished to date. Was any of it a quick fix or did it take repetitious effort? Why is a weight loss goal any different than that? Did you make some changes to your diet and not drop pounds in a few days? You didn’t gain the weight that quickly right? Maybe you’d better keep at it and see what works over a consistent period of time. Giving yourself the appropriate timeline and making adjustments to your plan as needed is a sure-fire way to succeed at just about any goal and certainly a weight-loss goal!
