Stress is a part of life for each and every one of us. Some stresses are small and seem insignificant while others can be overwhelming. Waking up in the morning, eating and exercising creates stress on your body but these are some of the good ones. The ones that I’m writing about are the stresses or troubles that don’t go away or are chronic and you’d be hard pressed to find a person who hasn’t dealt with them. In my experience people either readily admit to feeling stressed OR completely deny feeling any. In this case, it seems that some perceive stress as weakness. Having the personal awareness and actual strength to share this absolves the aforementioned weakness. Now I’m not suggesting that the burden of chronic stress is always with us, thankfully. I am, however, suggesting that awareness of these feelings is the beginning of finding the solution and that’s where the real magic happens!
