Effort changes everything! It changes how you feel emotionally and physically. It changes how you think and how you behave. It doesn’t need to be a constant effort or grueling work, but the consistency must be there to get the results you want.
Here’s the great news… It gets easier over time. Though it might feel like a burdon in the beginning, it will get easier for various reasons. The workouts that you currently enjoy began as new, challenging and perhaps scary. Building your strength and confidence by sticking with it and seeing results change your feelings and validates the effort.
Setting boundaries and saying no to bad food or the expectations of others (even your loved ones) is only hard at first. Weight loss, more energy, stress management, better health and free time quickly make that effort easier. When you implement a behaviour change and begin to see positive results, the effort becomes effortless.
