Wow, is there ever a lot of confusion when trying to decipher health and fitness information! Focus on cardio, only strength train, prioritize protein, eat carbs or minimize, and what about fat?? You certainly can’t follow all at once because of the contradictions so here is my scientifically backed advice.
Deciphering health and fitness information doesn’t need to be confusing.
Cardio and strength training are both important but, when pressed for time, your lift can include cardiovascular properties by tweaking reps, sets and rest time. Protein gets far too much press, and many sources (all meats and dairy) are loaded with saturated fat. There are no benefits to be found in saturated fat and countless ways it can harm you. Carbs are your body’s preferred energy source plus they’re nutrient dense and loaded with fiber. Unsaturated fats found in plant foods (carbs) include healthy amounts of nutrients and fiber, reaping many benefits.
Workout and prioritize a variety of colourful carbs to be Simply Fit!
