Waistline, Weight & Wellness

These three things are highly related to what’s on your fork. A plant powered whole food diet supports a tight waistline, healthy body weight and overall wellness. These closely related attributes that we all want are more dependent on your diet than anything else. Fill half your plate with colourful fruits and veggies, one quarter with whole grains, and the remaining quarter with protein rich sources like legumes, edamame, tofu, tempeh, quinoa, nuts and seeds to reap the benefits.

Many believe that exercise, in various forms is a profound weight loss tactic but it isn’t. A structured exercise program improves cardio respiratory fitness, bone density, muscular strength and endurance. While these components of wellness are valuable, exercise does very little to support a shrinking waistline and weight loss.

Healthy lifestyle habits like regular exercise balanced with rest support your overall wellness but the heavy hitter for a tighter waistline, weight loss and maintenance of those is a plant powered whole food diet. Put that on your fork and eat it!
